A windshield certainly adds to the comfort of driving against the wind. One can relax and not have to keep holding on from being blown away. How ever I have also cussed the steering problem with a handle bar mounted windshield, in buffeting crosswinds, when riding a quick steering bike, such as my Savage and a BSA Victor.
